I was very impressed by this collection of intense and dark horror stories. I guess writing horror can't be easy but these guys have nailed it. Definitely worth reading- best late at night!
Loved the book. Just what I look for when I read horror. While the stories are short and sweet, the build up to the conclusion is well worth the read. While all of the stories were well written and entertaining, I especially loved "The Abattoir." If you enjoy a good read that is not the typical drivel that is being written today, I highly recommend this collection. I can't wait for the next book from these authors.
I loved these macabre short stories. They are just short enough to dip into on an evening. Great variety. Clever writing. I would certainly recommend this book.
One story in particular, The Posset really scared the pants of me. Very atmospheric writing in BE SURE YOUR SINS I really look forward to reading more by these authors.
I especially liked the Victorian themed horror stories in this collection, they were particularly well written. Overall a very good book with some creepy and quite macabre tales, I recommend it if you like those. Or just try it out.
This was a very original collection of short stories, there is a dark macabre humour that cuts through them. There is some gruesome bits but most of the scariness comes from the atmosphere. A nice find and a good read!
